A classic Rioja from a Bodegas with a great reputation. Smooth and refined the 2003 can be drunk now but will improve with age. 13% vol.
The El Coto vineyards are located in Cenicero (Rioja Alta), close to the Najerilla river (a tributary to the Ebro river), facing Northwest and with a, predominantly, ferric-clayey soil. The rest of the grapes come from selected winegrowers in Rioja Alavesa.
