One of the most forward thinking and ambitious wineries in Italy, Araldica Vini Piemontesi is a Co-Operative, with over 300 members and over 1,000 hectares of vines.
The mission behind Araldica under the guidance of dynamic Oenologist Claudio Manera is ambitious yet simple – to produce high quality wines in reasonable volumes. La Battistina a little north of Genova off the A7, lies around the town of Gavi. It is here that Claudio has chosen to invest in a small estate producing top class Gavi from the indigenous Cortese grape.
The resulting wine is a joy, pure apple and pear on the nose with a fresh zingy acidity and minerality and immensely long finish.
The perfect partner to your favourite summer dish. 12% Vol.
