We will soon be adding more locally produced fresh fruit and vegetables to our range of products.

We have concentrated on putting together a range of seasonal fresh vegetables, fruits and salads that have been grown in the region -reflecting the very best produce that is available.

We won't import fresh fruit and vegetable foods from abroad to fill the seasonal gaps.

Every pack will state who grew it and where, with their name and address on the front of the pack.

Every supplier will have to pass an audit, ensuring that all of our foods are produced in safe, hygienic conditions and in full compliance with all required legislation.

Spot checks are carried out unannounced as is our independent testing of foods for any pesticide residues and microbiological contamination ensuring food safetyis never compromised.

We will give commitment to a program and agree a fair return for the crop, working together to ensure a secure future for British farming.

HERITAGE

We also have a range of British Heritage Potatoes. These are grown to LEAF standards which helps protect the environment.
