Colour - Deep violet
 
Nose - Blackberries, black currants, dark cherry and liquorice combine with spices, earthy undertones and perfumed oak notes

Palate - Rich, powerful and well structured with fine balanced acidity and tannins. Vibrant sweet fruit and an opulent mouth feel are supported by well integrated oak for complexity and good length of flavour

Vineyard Region - The grapes for this wine came from our Clearvue Vineyard in the Bendigo region of Central Otago

Vineyard Conditions - A model growing season with warm, consistent weather throughout. The grapes were able to ripen without any of the usual pressure from seasonal influences

Maturation - Aged in a mix of 40% new and 60% used French oak barrels

Wine Analysis - Alc Vol: 14%. Acidity (TA): 6.3g/L. Residual Sugar: Less than 2g/L
