Bowmore. Islay Malt Whisky. Islay. Est. 1779. Named after the islands capital it is a medium bodied Islay malt, less peaty than some of its North of Islay cousins and fuller bodied than those of the South.
There is an undercurrent of toffee and a trace of sherry with a salty tang ending in a peppery finish.
