Seggiano Absinthe Chocolate Cake 400g
This wheat free version of the traditional Modenese chocolate cake, with an added absinthe twist, is made in the Gualmini family bakery in the Modena Apennines, where Tuscany meets Emilia Romagna.
Its moist consistency and dark chocolatey flavours combine divinely with the artemesia herbs, star anise and green anise of the absinthe liqueur.
As a dessert, it is delicious topped with whipped cream, ricotta or tiramisu. This cake is also an elegant and unusual complement to tea and coffee.
