Seggiano Artichoke Hearts Alla Romana 290g

These artichokes are prepared fresh at harvest time and preserved in stone milled extra virgin olive oil from the DeCarlo’s own mill. Extra virgin olive oil is the healthiest oil to preserve vegetables in and likewise, a good extra virgin olive oil delivers the best flavour.

Small, early-picked artichokes are trimmed down to the heart, marinaded and grilled very lightly to preserve consistency and flavour. The mountain mint is a delicious addition to the subtle flavours of the tender artichoke hearts.

Store away from heat and light. Once open, store in a cool, dark place, keep the artichokes submerged in the oil & use within two weeks.
