Domaine Ambroise's house style is normally full, intense and age-worthy; yet this Coteaux Bourguignons is on the lighter side, with fruit that is plummy and an interesting underlying spice (a bit of a farmyard note too, but in a good way!) framed with refreshing acidity that partnered my lamb moussaka perfectly.
