Founded in 1885 upon the marriage of Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Chateau, Langlois-Chateau has been specialising in the wines of the Loire for more than 130 years. This 1.5ha plot of Pinot Noir is situated on wonderful chalky-clay soils in Sancerre that yield 55hl/ha. A beautiful garnet colour with an open nose with notes of wild cherry, raspberries, wild strawberries with a hint of earthy spice and pepper. Delicate on the palate, with silky tannins, bright fruit and lovely balance on the finish.
