Pure Mendocino Zinfandel from Andersen Valley. Jackson Family Wines bought the Edmeades Estate in 1988 and since then has established an outstanding reputation for the wines. Mendocino is famous for its dark, dense, rich, fruity and earthy Zinfandels with high alcohol content. With restricted yields it produces distinctive wines of very high quality. Syrah and Petite Syrah have been added to this blend to give extra body to the mid palate and 10 months in new and old barrels gives the wine a toasty and spicy creaminess.
