The famous Marqués de Murrieta is a perfect balance between a lively fruit purity and classic Rioja rusticity. The nose jumps out of the glass with brilliant, aromatics of dark cherry, balanced with hints of dried violets, red pepper, thyme and graphite and spice box. Mouth-watering on the palate, mirroring the nose with a dark, expressive fruit flavour profile and a long, succulent finish. Brilliant on its own or paired with roasted vegetables, lamb chops or charcuterie.
