D`Issan is a joint venture between the Cruse family (spearheaded by Emmanuel since 1995), who was then joined by Jacky Lorenzetti in 2013. Major investment in both the vineyards and the winery has seen quality improve dramatically, and we believe its now one of the best properties in Margaux. More concentrated black fruits nose with lovely ripeness, slightly perfumed with finesse and elegance. Incredible freshness and energy with an uplifting core that adds serious grace. Plenty of depth, tension in a savoury black fruits and bramble core with added spice. Complex, elegant and powerful with sheer class.
