We had the pleasure of supplying champagne for the Parker family on their wedding day. After a consultation with Patrick at UNCORK'D, the couple chose their champagne (which we stored for them in our cellar), ahead of the big day. The champagne was delivered to London in readiness, and went down very well, and even better - at wholesale rates! We were sent some fantastic pictures of the champagne being served in vintage double decker busses and a London taxi en route to the venue. Congratulations Guy & Sydney, and thank you for entrusting us with your wedding day champagne.

Every wine, spirit and beer has been hand-chosen, and tasted, by myself and the team in order to offer the absolute best quality products around. The greatest thing about wine is the sheer scale of variety. We stock around 800 wines in total, but this barely scratches the surface of what is available. There is always a new, exciting wine, winery, or grape variety waiting to be discovered. I constantly tweak and update our wine collection to reflect this and to keep things nice and fresh.
Darryl

I'm proud to say I am ninth generation of the Baker family here at Bakers & Larners. Our Cellar has always been at the heart of our store since I can remember, and so I jumped at the chance at teaming up with Patrick and Darryl to launch UNCORK'D. One of my favourite aspects of our wine venture is meeting people; whether its venue owners, couples, or anyone hosting a party for any occassion. I love learning about people, and in turn, matching our wine selections to give them the best event possible.

• Choose your 1-hour time slot.
• Visit us (up to 4 guests per session) to sample a minimum of 8 wines designed to suit your menu & budget.

About The Cellar
Home to over 1,400 bottles, our Cellar forms part of Holt's history. Dating back to the 1600's the three interlocking chambers and traditional delivery shoot from the Market Place are still in use today. From the main and most recently restored cellar, a narrow and low short passage leads into the oldest. Here, natural light from a glass grill set into the pavement allows the opportunity to sight a very rare fern, carefully protected, flourishing in an aperture. The variety of structures in each space and their material compositions indicate a complex architectural history that allows one to easily imagine pictures of the past.
