Neither fined nor filtered, Bertrand Ambroise's Beaune Premier Cru "Les Tuvilains" shows an inky black in colour with violet rim. The nose reveals aromas of wild strawberry, dark cherry, licquorice and a hint of oak spice. Mirroring the nose, the palate shows rich dark fruits balanced brilliantly alongside an elegant, yet chewy, tannin structure that lingers throughout. Clean and long on the finish. A gem in the making and a perfect accompanient with duck or game dishes.
