We suggest four, but you can play as many or as few as you would like. Separate the cards into Catch Phrase and Bonus Catch Phrase piles and place a cover card on top of the piles in the middle of gameplay. Place the buzzer card within reach of all players. The oldest player reveals the first Catch Phrase. The first player to press the buzzer card can guess. If they guess correctly, they score 100 points. Use a pen and piece of paper to keep track of the scores as you play. If the player gives a wrong answer, they are frozen out, and the other players are allowed to guess by racing to press the buzzer card first and give a correct answer. If no correct answer is given by all players, no points are scored, and the card is placed into a discard pile. After six Catch Phrase cards have been played, it’s time for a Bonus Catch Phrase. The player with the fewest points becomes the host and scans the QR code on one of the Bonus cards to launch the animated Catch Phrase. Players now score 200 points per Catch Phrase! Play standard Catch Phrases as per round one, but when a player correctly guesses a Catch Phrase, they can reveal a square and try to guess the Bonus Catch Phrase. Get it right, and they get 500 points. Guess wrong, and all players play another standard Catch Phrase card. The Winner Each round consists of a standard round and a bonus round. Once you have played the agreed number of rounds, add up the scores, and the player with the most points is crowned the Catch Phrase Campion!
