Chateau de la Riviere is the largest estate in the Fronsac region, as well as being one of the oldest, with the chateau being constructed in 1577. The 2012 Chateau de la Riviere is a big bold vigorous style of Fronsac full of plum, cherry and vanilla aromas, with strong structure and fine tannin. An exceptional wine from an great vintage. Chateau de La Riviere is best paired with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck and game.
