The iris is a flower that's always beautifully coiffed with its striking blue ruffled petals (called "falls") and handsome yellow beards. With its traditional shape and glaze, this plate has a vintage look with a smooth, modern finish. Each plate begins its life as clay which is dug out of the ground in Devon, Cornwall, Wales or Staffordshire, and is made using traditional skills and craftsmanship.
