Features & Specifications Completely oven safe up to 480° F (250° C). Enamel on steel is fused on heavy gauge steel. Not suitable for microwave oven. Can be used on electric and gas hobs but prime use is in oven. Ideal for use in baking shepherds or meat pies. Use for pies and puddings. Size: 24cm. Care Instructions After use, soak dish in warm or hot water, then wash gently with a liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaning pads or gritty soap powder. Do NOT place empty enamelware or allow to boil dry on a hot plate or gas hob. Enamel on steel is hard and strong but like all good ceramic materials, it will chip if handled roughly. HINT: A light coat of cooking oil applied prior to use makes washing easier.
