Full of fruit and very versatile
An attractive, medium to deep red colour. Aromas are fresh and fruity, with cranberry and strawberry scent, followed by a hint of pepper and wild herb. Medium-bodied, less full than a Chateauneuf-du-Pape for example, and has smooth, almost velvety tannins. It’s juicy and extremely well-balanced, with a long finish of blackberries, plums and herbs. It’s not an especially complicated wine, with its beauty being lovely berry fruit, midweight and a juicy, moreish nature!
