The Mercurey Rouge by Pillot Romain & Simon is a traditional red wine that expresses the authentic character of the Côte Chalonnais, the sunniest corner of Burgundy.
The nose reveals ripe red fruit, typical violet and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, it is balanced, warm but also fine and long-lasting. Ideal with red meat and French cuisine.
Scent: Fresh red fruit such as strawberry and cherry, hints of violet and a slight earthy note.
Taste: Full and round, with noticeable but silky tannins, broad and vertical.
